FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

QUESTION: How long can we keep the dumpster? 
ANSWER: The quoted price includes seven full days. Exceptions can be made. Be sure to ask when you place your order. 

QUESTION: How long does it take to receive a dumpster? 
ANSWER: In most cases we can deliver the next business day, but we recommend ordering at least three days prior to the day you want the dumpster delivered. 

QUESTION: When do you pick up the dumpster? 
ANSWER: Call us when you are finished with your project, and we will pick it up within one to two business days. If you know your pickup date when you place your order, the pick up date can be scheduled at the same time. 

QUESTION: Is there anything that we cannot put in the dumpster?  
ANSWER: We do not accept tires, propane tanks, mattresses, refrigerators, or any hazardous materials. 

QUESTION: How much debris can I put in the containers? 
ANSWER: The drivers have to be able to secure a tarp over the dumpster. Therefore, the contents of the dumpster cannot be higher than the sides. Also, each size dumpster has a ton limit. There will be additional charges if you exceed the maximum allowed tonnage for the can. Most dumpsters will not weigh over the allowed tonnage. Debris including but not limited to concrete, dirt, or roofing shingles, are examples of what could potentially cause an overweight charge. 

QUESTION: Do you provide dumpster rentals to addresses outside of Hampton Roads? 
ANSWER: We do not deliver to South Hampton County and beyond. We do not deliver to Yorktown and beyond. We do not deliver to North Carolina.

QUESTION: Why was my bill higher than you quoted? 
ANSWER: The only time this would ever happen is if your dumpster had items in it that were not allowed, such as tires, mattresses, propane tanks, or refiridgerators; OR if your dumpster was overweight, meaning that it exceeded the tonnage that is included in the price for the dumpster you ordered. 

QUESTION: When is payment due? 
ANSWER: Payment is due at the time of delivery. If your dumpster exceeds the tonnage allowed for the size, there will be an additional charge when the dumpster is picked up.
